yeah i didnt think you went from 3rd to 1st. thats why i think it's odd they would even say that. you'd have to be intentionally trying to destroy 1st.

ra's should hold up pretty good for you. if you dont do the 5k clutch drops and hamfist the shifter. you can also add strength to them by having them shot-peened. as of right now thats what i intend to do with them and they should hold up perfectly.

the newer trannys have gotten alot better, but still they are not intended for the style of abuse most people put on them. you can make them last for a long time if you drive it right. they arent designed for drag racing. i have 292whp at 12k on my 05 tranny, and it still works perfectly(knock on wood).
