very true, you can...but in reality...who makes cams big enough to keep the valves open long enough to flow enough air? a 2.4 can run any cam made, up to crane #24s, I dont know about you, but if I am revving an engine to 10 grand, I'll be rebuilding it from the ground up, true, a 2.4 revving to 10 grand wont last as long as a 2.0 revving the same, but then, a 2.0 revving anywhere above 8 wont last long anyway, just as a 2.4 revving over 7 constantly wont either, since neither the 2.0 or 2.4 have a rod/stroke ratio as godly as a bike, why pretend? use a power adder instead and use the relaible part of the powerband of whatever engine you are working on, be it a 1.0L or a 6.0L
