That Cavalier is OHV pushrod motor and it is not Ecotec there are only 2 and soon to be 3 Ecos running around mine, a red one in Tampa and T3/T4 soon to be (blue one).
I know the kid has a .63 A/R and 70 trim to big for that motor and only running 7-8 psi.
I see that car in low 14's as that is the best he ran so far.
My car you will rarely see anywhere else but in St Pete and Clearwater, unless I am at GIS or Bradenton going home.
Well the announcer at the track specifically said he was running a 2.2 ecotec turbo motor.

But since you know every ecotec motor and owner in the Tampa/clearwater area, I guess your right.
Anyway, if he ran low 14 then that explains why I walked away from him so bad on the 1st run and also pulled away from him up top with my timing retard 2 degrees on the second run

This car wasn't very fast, although I think his times were due to bad launches and low pro tires. Either way, I would have destroyed him from a dig. Also, if he has a 70 trim turbo, I would think he would have had more for me on the top end
