Yes, my car's motor is 100% stock. I'm looking into working upgrades in stages since I don't make much money at this point in my life. I chose intake because it seemed one of the more ismple and cheaper upgrades for my car, but people hev been telling me the CFM ratings of the intake and carb should be close to match, the effective RPM range of the cam and intake should line up, and that I should match the heads with the cam. In the end I intend on having it all match up quite nicely, so I hope, but is there any detrament in upgrading it bit by bit, aside from the carb/intake fitting issue?
P.S. I planned on running a 4150 anyway, so there's no problems there.
Only bad thing is you won't get all the HP you could get. Theres nothing wrong with buliding it peice by peice. Personally I'd save up so I didn't have to keep tearing shit apart and rebuilding it, but its up to you.
