In all honesty, a 750 will not be suffice for a beginner bike. I wouldn't go anything less than a 1000cc motorbike, contrary to what the jealous haters might tell you. I tried a 600 and it was a girl bike, then I stepped up to the Busa Beast and discovered what REAL riding is. Go for the 1000, and if you feel a little jumpy, give the Hayabusa 1300 a go 'round. It may cost a little more, but it will be better in the long run because you don't have to buy like 16 bikes to 'climb the ladder'.
