VWs have traditionally not had good 1/4 mile times (as Im sure you know). So much traction is lost through the front suspension design. The quickest stock body VW I know of is EIPs 650hp GTI that runs high 11s. But the car also weighs more than a stock GTI. Theyve added some huge subframe reinforcements and a roll cage. No gutted car there.

With slicks on my VR6 I could muster maybe 2.1 sec 60 foots. Not bad but not all that good. But I dont think its any worse than any typical front driver. AWD sure would be nice
