John Blown, what do you think of the Land and Sea dyno's?
I really dont like to use and other dyno other then a load type dyno(land&sea/Mustang). They let you tune for real life driving and give you a true potential reading for the car on the street and the track. Alot of people on and around this area(and hell the rest of the scene for that matter) frown on any car making low numbers and lokk for HUGE numbers on a dyno. You try driving a 400+HP FWD car on the street and tell me its easy or even fun for that matter, compared to lets say a 325HP car. I am hear to tell you, If you want a high number, DONT use a load dyno, use a dynojet(or simulare) Now if you want your car to flat out perform the a load dyno is your best bet. But if you still want those bigger numbers to throw in faces of others, take the load dyno numbers and add 15-18% and you will get about the same numbers most of the syno queen cars are throwing down ... All in all, for true tuning dyno, The land and sea is one of the better ones on the market( IMHO )
