Depends all what you have to do... If you catch it in the early stages and can just replace the bearings it isnt too bad but if it doesnt get caught you could end up needing a whole new shortblock. I think the dealer charge on mine was around 4k or so.... But I had a warranty. If I didnt have a warranty I would have just put in a 6 bolt and not had to worry anymore.
