well the main reason 1g's dont walk as much from what i understand is the location of the crank angle sensor and the fact that maybe mitsubishi had a bad run of bearings and/or cranks....seems to me that they should have recalled it and lost the money just so they can keep a good name...but alot of people are pissed...i even heard that some mitsu dealers dont even know what crankwalk is...they blame it on the driver if its modified and blame another reason for it messing up not being the crank....at least brandon mitsubishi knows what it is....i talked to a cool tech and he knew his shit...pretty nice guy...if my engine ever walks im going with a 6 bolt 1g motor and building it mildly for street use.....sucks for so many people...theres a guy on a dsm board who paid sean glazar from extreme motorsports(famous dsm guy) 7500 to build him a motor and it walked it 700 miles....then he takes it back and sean wont pay for the damages because he didnt go with the clutch he recommend to the customer(clutch masters....weird that he is sponsered by them huh...) even tho alot of people say that the clutch is not the reason...so that guy had to shell out another 2 grand and was happy with it becuz supposebly sean was helping him out...bullshit...well im just rambling off at the mouth
