well it probably would cost more to recall it then to just let people bring it in on their own accord, as is like most greedy companies. im not exactly sure what changed mechanically between the 1st and 2nd gens to cause more 2nd gens to have the problem. and yes a very very little number of people get crankwalk in 1st gens, i was told the other evening someone on tbdsm board had walked 2 1st gens, i dont remember who he was tho
