Mostly true. If they get a warrant for drugs, then they can only search in places where drugs might be, which is almost anywhere. If they find something that is not drugs, but would still be able to be found where drugs might be present, they can use it.
If their warrant is for guns, however, which are not as easily concealed as drugs, and they search somewhere like in a very small compartment or somewhere a gun would not be easily concealed and drugs are found, then the drugs are inadmissable.
Warrant for a dead body? They can only search the trunk and the back seat, pretty much. Even if they find a bloody knife and a note to the person's family - Inadmissable.
Always say no, you never know if you're gonna get a crooked cop who just wants to nail you and happened to pull over a pothead earlier that night. You have *ZERO* rights if you say yes.
