Hey guys, I am new to Hondas and I just bought a 97 Hatch with a d16y8 swap in it. The guy told me there is no knock sensor and the car is throwing a check engine light. He said all I gotta do is buy the sensor, and run a wire to the ECU. Is this gonna be that simple? NEED HELP! Thanks in advance.

Ps. Also is this sensor really important? Or can I go w/o it?
