In that case it may have stuck to the flywheel , especially after hard driving , i've talked to a guy with a CA18DET that had this happen to him, he was driving hard at one of the local tracks in germany , on one lap he smelled it burn , and it wouldn't let him into gear. My exedy hyper single is on the border of streetability as well , although not as bad as some , it's still very stiff and it did take me a little bit to get used too.
