For repair centers you have to be certified, apparently no one has been following this standard and we were just audited. For every employee not certified by the Company Or MECP or ASE we were fined 50k and for every Ticket (customer) that was imporperly documented as far as parts and all receipts etc etc We were fined 20k. We are still going through this and last years Work orders Trying to fix all the mistakes. We had to do this before they would reissue out Repair center liscence. Iunno How stickler the law is or what all it intales but a week after this we were shipped a box full of MECP guids and Sample tests. Im ASE and MECP so i have no worries, but all the guys at the shop are studying their tails off ! Its good to be cerified just so you can say HEY I know What im talking about
