get some DR's, it really helps
but you have to "feather" the clutch out, you cant just drop it because it shocks the tires and you just spin. sidestepping doesnt do anything for you
i had nitto DR's 275/50/15's in back and i would let the car rev to 2500, launch on the third yellow, let the clutch out not too fast, and the sec it hooked lay into the throttle more, then when you know you have caught floor it. do this till you have it down pat, then you will do it all fluidly and not spin while also not thinking about it. then youll be able to lay into it after you play with the clutch.
its not something you are going to get the first couple times out there. take your time, do what you need to do and not worry about your times yet. be much more concerned with your 60's.
then you can learn to powershift once you have the clutch play down and youll be flying in no time
