Drifting is the hardest form of wear on your engine. Dragging doesn't require anything, just a good driver, except if you are competing and such. drag racers aren't at redline the whole time they are in a straight line, drifters are at redline for a solid 5 minutes (however long the track/drift is). So in turn, drifting does cost a shitload of money, either to replace your engine for blowing it up or put money into it so it won't blow up. Then to deal with suspension parts that break, crashing, tires, etc...

I think we should make a thread on "How much does it cost to drift?" just my .02 though.
