put the dizzy on but leave the bolts loose and have a friend hop in the car and have him rev it while you adjust the dizzy till the point where it doesnt hesitate you should hear and know when the rev is smooth this has happend to me countless times and thats how i fix it
+1 but dont loosen it all the way just enough to where you can tap it with a wrench and move it a little bit...to make the idle go up more towards firewall, lower towards headlights..
