Default is it because of the dizzy?

my hose that went from the block to the heater, i believe (it connects to the block from under the dizzy on a y8 ) split and i had to replace it. In order to get to it, i had to take off the dizzy. Now, the hose is fine but the car hesitates at any throttle %. Is it the way i put the dizzy back on? If so, should i move it toward the front or toward the firewall? (in terms of postion of the dizzy)

if this isnt the problem, what else could it be?
car idles fine.

put the dizzy on but leave the bolts loose and have a friend hop in the car and have him rev it while you adjust the dizzy till the point where it doesnt hesitate you should hear and know when the rev is smooth this has happend to me countless times and thats how i fix it

+1 but dont loosen it all the way just enough to where you can tap it with a wrench and move it a little bit...to make the idle go up more towards firewall, lower towards headlights..
