Here goes
I got a 92 dx hb with a d15b7 block PO8 jdm 1.5 vtec head P28 ecu (convereted from automatic to stick) y8 head gasket ,bosch spark plugs ,z6 distributor
I was tols this set up was gonna produce a C/R around 10.2 to 1. I did a compresion test and I got from 181 to 187 psi on the compression test but still the car smoke gray kind of black all the spark plugs are black except for the cylinder #2 the car idle funny and from 750 rpm about till 1500 rpm kind of stall or drag .I got the haynes manual and show me that the cylinder #1 goes toward the front but my rotor is pointing towar the firewall I took the timing belt off rotate the camshaft 360 degress and still ending in the same spot .I tought the timing was set on the exhaust cycle but still doing the same thing also I was thinking I need and external coil due the high compression set up any help will be really appreciatted Thanks............Omar
