I would get the Corolla for a daily driver. Reasons being, the corolla is a great realiable platform that will last a long long time. Also with it being less power than the Spec V you will be less likely to try to race someone at the stoplight. Plus im sure the insurance is cheaper. Just put some springs and wheels on the corolla and it should be a nice daily.
