The Spec V is a very nice handler. I watched a young couple co drive one together at an auto-x and I believe all they had was Azenis on it, and they set down some impressive times, even the girl was only a 2nd or two behind her man.
They really are. SE-R's pull .88 G's on a skidpad. Keep in mind thats on par with an AWD WRX. They also have crazy fast slalom times (specV's slalom speeds are faster then a C5 vette). Lane change speed is also rediculously fast.
Corolla.. I mean, it is what it is. I'm not knocking it, but the SE-R is going to offer you a whole nother level of driving experience. You have to decide whether you want to drive a car that feels like a rental car, or a car that feels sharp and ballzy.
