Default Cooling issue

OK, did some more researching and found out that I had the radiator fan motor burn out on me. Replaced it today and now I have normal operating temperatures until I turn the A/C on. If I am sitting at idle without it on, I have normal temps. When I turn the A/C on, the temp gauge goes from normal to about 25% hotter until I start to move, then it cools back down to normal. I also am smelling the coolant while sitting. Checked to see if there were any leaks anywhere and all I have is condensation from the a/c under the car. my guess now is its either the switch or the thermostat itself going bad. Anyone have any other suggestions??
