Yeah, I may go the welding route, but I may have to have someone do it (housing is aluminum and I'm not THAT good a welder).
If I had upwards of 300hp on tap I would most definitely keep the awd, but this is a usdm legacy wagon we're talking about, and the phase I motor blows at around 9psi of boost... RWD is the more cost effective way to enjoy the car.
2 of the Banzai kids saw it step out quite a bit last night (in between losing battles against understeer, which happens the moment you allow it to), and they seemed to like it well enough.
Right now I'm looking for a 2.5rs read end and axles (any Subaru guys lmk)!
