Head down to one of the Gulfcoast Autocrossers events in Ft. Myers. Very well run events and its on the best autocross surface on the East Coast of the country.
I quit goin to ft. meyers events cuz they are WAY too hot with NO shade at all and the course setup is the same every month out and back slalom with out reprieve. i may go september if i have nothing else to do but everyone in ft. myers takes advantage of every little discrepancy in the rules and has all the mods for their respective classes including everyone but sts is on R compounds it gets really old being verrrry good with the car that you have but not being able to compete because you didnt mod the piss out of your car it makes it too much like drag racing. autox is supposed to be mostly about the driver and if you think that you can drive my car better than me think again i have taught many an instructor a lesson or 2 in ol nessie i beat marc dana (evolution performance driving school) driving my car i drive that car to its limits but cant get even within a second or 2 of any one in my "class" (no harm no foul jessie just my opinion)
