You could also check pedal height...I once had the engaging point set too low and it made me grind trying to get into gears.

Does it still grind if you double clutch it? It could be bad synchros. If that’s the case I would probably pick one off from the classifieds link. I see Ka trannys go all the time for like a hundred bucks.
I mean i don't really have to double clutch it , that's the thing ... i can double clutch it and stab the hell out of the pedal , and sometimes it still won't go into gear , sometimes i won't have to do anything but put it in neutral , then just clutch and it will go straight into gear with no problems, other times it will be already in gear, and i would come to accelerate (ease off the clutch and give it some gas) and it will move alittle then just whirr and grind, and i'd have to struggle to get back into gear/neutral, afterwards it will shift fine , ... that is the weird problem it doesn't happen all the time. I mean if it did , it would obviously be the synchronizers and i would just get another SR transmission. I'am going to take the car over to durden perfab and see what taylor has to say. If the transmission must come off the car to be diagnosed ... i might as well save up. I just hope the car will be able to make it to safety habor and back.
