IF you must keep it outside, get an armored cable and cable it to a pole. cover it also. you don't have to be faster than the bear, just faster than the guy next to you.
another words, if you live in an apartment complex and there are three sportbikes sitting with just wheel locks that can be thrown in the back of a van, but yours is chained to a pole, who's bikes are goign to get stolen first? thieves are looking for a quick score most of the time, not necessarily the nicest bike.
