i daily drove my car lowered for years with the cutout. my cutout is in the I pipe near the backjust before the pipe goes over the axle. so no clearance issues. esp if the car isnt slammed and on skinnys (shorter tires) in teh front. its still straight out at the end of the pipe and works well. i run without it capped unless i ever decide to leave town or get on the highway for a longer period (like driving out to BMP). but it really doesnt bother me. just vibrates teh car more. i have the bolts welded to the cutout so all i do is put on the cap, and hand tighten the nuts. takes litereally a few minutes and i dont have to lift the car up at all. just get on my back and reach.
