it doesnt matter if its closed deck or not, the stock sleeves are made from FRM and i believe the wiescos are the only pistons that are coated and safe to run on the stock sleeves. but, there are still many people out there that are having problems with the wiescos on stock sleeves, but there are also plenty of people without problems. just to be safe, i would sleeve the motor. better to be safe than sorry.

also, do a search because we had a huge thread about this same subject already, also search on honda-tech.com because they have had many threads on the same subject.
