The 3.1/3.4 variant has been a long way before 2000 same with the 3.8s. As a 2000 that car is 5 years old, thats starting to get up there honestly.

Hell I did a motor swap on a 99 Cavalier fwe months ago, we fouind a 2.2 motor outta 02 Sunfire with 17k miles. Thats an even less common motor to find since it was only stuck in 2 cars.
