sadly enough, thats about right for price.
crank labor is approx 20-25 hours labor by the book. depening on the car too. also it depends if the rod is stretched, if it hit a piston or went even farther.
i just had the crank on my car replaced...cost me about 2000...but that was a new cam, timing chain, crank kit, seals, gaskets, oil pump, plugs, wires, radiator, tranny mount...i did a lot more than i needed to, but figured what the hey, if the motors out, do as much as i can afford.
