Im not one to really chime in and dog someones shop but.... 7k is WAY to much. motor Swap/Changeovers from HMotors comes with ALL mounts ALL Linkages and ALL wireing Harness's and YOUR CHOICE of ECU. And if you arnt a puss you can talk them down on the price of their swaps. I know this from experince. They wanna sell the swap they will with whatever it takes. But a swap might take you 8 hours tops from start to finish. Ive done These types of swaps in one day With wireing and ive never charged that high. Id say MAYBE 5k 5500 if everything is brand new. Screw that chip for the price hes charging run a VFAC or get the right ECM for that engine (HMotors Supplies whichever you choose) as for the wiring he can get a OBD1 Si or GSR engine harness cheap and guess what plug and play change a few sensors blamo Swap done. Hoses, Belts plugs wires etc would cost you about 60-70$ i know i just replaced them all.
I dont care who you are or how good everyone says you are its bussiness.. Be competetive, Its not a magic swap but that price it better have a Golden Valve Cover ! I Say shop around you can find cheaper, I know people that will come to your house and do it and want a 6pack. I built a kids GSR in his garage after work everyday and i charged him 1k it took me 4 days with machining time. Iunno me personally wouldnt pay 7k for a installed swap !
