I'd say it's either your deck or amp. I've had situations where I've swapped the deck out and all background noise was eliminated, same with amps. Considering your amp is the lowest end piece of equipment in your system.....you might want to start with that.


And I have seen instinces where power wire and rca's/speaker wires ran together have induced noise. All depends on the kind of wire you're running though and amount of power/guage of wire. It's rare, but it's possible.
