the 91-95 motors used an evap system (charcoal canister) that was mounted just to the driver side of the radiator on the radiator support. the 96-98 models that utilized OBD-II had the evap canister relocated in the rear of the car (directly behind the passenger tire/hidden by plastic shrouds), and it used one line coming to the front of the car for when it would purge the fuel vapors into the intake manifold. i'd suggest if you plan on keeping it to use the s13 upper and lower manifolds (much easier to swap out with the motor out anyways).

you can delete this out of your system and cap the lines and deal with a few check engine lights and a cleaner engine bay, but it doesnt really do much performance wise, and even though florida is becoming smog central, we dont have smog nazis yet so no hassles with anyone. (if you do decide to remove it, its best to not cap the line coming from the fuel tank (the vapor line)...its under some pressure at times, and its best to just direct it downward away from the car. if you cap it, you'll just have more of a pressure release when you go to fill up with gas as you release the gas filler cap).
