ahhh... it should help in the probability of having your bead pop off due to excessive sidewall flex right? Wouldn't it also help to break traction, as a result of less of a "wrinkle wall" effect? uhh... but wouldn't you need a tire with a stiff/hard sidewall to get stretched over a rim to remedy this?

But I have some kuhmos that got real messed up before they were done, had like 60% tread left, and the sidewalls were toast. They were 205's on a 7.5. I switched to a pair of azenis, and problem was solved probably as a result of the stiffer sidewalls.
