My car held it's own back in the day. I was using a log manifold from some guy in Canada. Internal wastegate, t3 off of a SAAB. Basic junkyard setup.
I upgraded the head and pistons, but left the rods stock... I learned my lesson from that one.
The car is still down, and eventually I'll bring it back up. Maybe one day the SOHC will be back around to club some baby seals again.
Edit: My car wasn't anything super fast. It was ONE of the few SOHC turbos around back then. A lot of people around here, and random other places respected the car when it was in it's prime. But like everything, it came to an end.
I estimated it was making around 220whp. best run at the track was 15.8@98mph (IIRC) on 8psi. I never got it to the track after the headwork and hondata. on 16psi It was probably a mid 13 second car. From a roll anyway. It definatly made a statement that even single cams can make an impression on the v8 guys.
