...Ive heard the same thing and theres no definative answer.
It would be interesting to see some cold hard facts on the matter if anyone has experience on it. My thoughts would be since the 97+ blocks have a semi-exotic liner and are supposedly very susceptible to piston expansion/contraction the simple path would be to source a quality forged piston with a high silicon content.
