I'm not going to bring the boost over 10psi probably not even over 7 or 8 in all actuality, on the stock motor, so I think the internal will work just fine. If I go higher boost with the built motor (in progress) then I will likely change turbos and go with an external wastegate. I'm trying to experience myself in turbos some using my car as a guinea pig. I've already done a bunch of porting/polishing I'm going to try out on the so called "guinea pig" . That's what I'm really working for with this little side project. Basically I completely removed the "SPI" part of the Ford SPI motor

. I may lose some torque, but gain in the upper RPM's, who knows. Maybe I'll gain on both ends of the spectrum
