From what i heard, most of the time it is the Vehicle Speed Sensor "VSS", which sends the speed reading to the TCU so it shifts in the right time. I've always wanted to change the VSS and see what happens, but never had the chance to. If you ever change it and it makes a difference, let me know so that i change mine too
Since the car was under a warranty, I paid the $$ to have it done at Aamco. I didn't want to void the warranty by doing the work myself. Any ways, it did nothing. We got the car less than 2 miles away before the 'Check Engine light' came back on. I scanned it and it was the "Input Speed Shaft Sensor Malifuntion." The exact code from before! I took the car back and they told me it is the TCU. I am done with them and these problems. I am just going to find one at the auction and hope that the replacement parts don't have the same problem!
