If for some reason they do say it's the computer, most likely it will be the TCU (transmission control unit) and not the ECU. I do have an ECU here for a 5th gen (94-97 Accord) automatic LX non-vtec id you did need one. I never really hear of the TCU's going out.. so your best bet is to just find a used tranny, and if you have a problem I can find you one. I know a lot of people with wrecked cars and they sell them for cheap.
