from what i know, 94-97 tranny's are the same.

so you know, your honda accord has a f22 engine(SOHC). the prelude has h23(DOHC) or h22(DOHC). but you can still use a tranny from either of these motors as well.

honda auto trannies suck, i went through the same thing as you, slipping into 4th. i converted my accord to stick and got rid of the problem.

also, if you let off the gas right before the shift, it will shift normal.
