You're a dumbass. There are flagship names like (mustang and corvette) that most likely will NEVER go away.
Everything else changes. They'll introduce a model, run it until the name gets 'stale' and then they'll come out with something new. Remember these: caprice, corsica, lumina?????
The only reason GM has names right now that are familiar is because everyone is on this retro is cool kick. Since they can't seem to design a car that is retro, they're using retro names. (malibu, montecarlo, impala, gto)
