I beg to differ Bill you should come ride in my car with the Apexi WS coilovers.... you wont believe the handling and the ride vs a sleeve biggggg difference when you actually have a matched set. especially with the mild progession springs that stiffen when lowered more.
I recommend getting some real coilovers I have the Apexi WS coilovers on my accord and I love them (before i owned koni yellows/neuspeed race springs) and I can get them for like $800 spend the little more and do it right.

A sleeve type coilover will not be any worse than a threaded shock. Perhaps if people would get off this JDM bandwagon they would realize that there are other alternatives out there offering equal if not better quality.
To answer the question your suggested setup isnt that bad. Only concerns are that Skunk coilovers tend to be a bit aggressive w/ a 400/500 spring rate F/R and whether KYB will be able to support such an aggressive rate. Im pretty fond of Koni myself but I believe their off-the-shelve rating is 500 (word of mouth). You can however go through a dealer such as www.truechoice.com and get a custom set of Konis valved for your needs. If youre just doing this for the sake of dropping the ride height with no intent on suspension tuning Id just take the advice given above and go with a simple lowering spring.
