Good points. Still sticking with gusts, or "maybe" an engine was out and they were trying to limp that bitch in. The reason i say that is i know a few pilots commercial and Navy, and know the ours of training they go through let only the amount of real fly time. To botch somthing that bad just doesn't register with me. If you are right then i wouldn't think those guys would be flying anymore after they come off that plane.
