doesnt matter... its too little, too late...
looks like Mitsubishi is trying to cash in on the 350z market. and blur the liens between what would have been an eclipse and the 3000GT, again.
260/260 is useless in a FWD format... if it was rwd, they might have something... something that would make me drive right past the Nissan dealer and stop at the Mitsu dealer...
the MIVEC motor has potential, there are tuners that have gotten some good power out of them already... its not a motor you can fake your way with, like a 4G. you have to know what youre doing to get power out of the Mivec.
appearances = Audi TT + 350z. the key to creativity is to hide your sources.
imsure this car is good for what it is... but not good for what the rest of US would plan on doing with it if we ever bought one... but with the prices of 3G's readily exceeding the $30k mark, i wouldnt be surprised if the "Desireable" 4G eclipse priced well into the $30k... putting it out of the reach or not worth the money of most DSM'ers...
just like the muscle car era, the tuner car era has passed. as far as im concerned, the best tuner cars that were ever put out, happened in the late 80's, early 90's. now, everyone is so goddamn afraid of turbochargers and RWD/AWD... and the cars that DO have a desireable powertrain/drivetrain format require $500 car payments and full coverage + GAP insurance... i DEFINITLY Dont want to spend that much on a car thats going to depreciate.
