Theres also a sensor thats connected to the bottom of the throttle body that screws in. Mine used to unscrew itself and cause my idle to stay up in the 3 grand range. I screwed it back in with some loctite and havent had any problems since. This is on an integra.
Depending on the motor, the Electronic Air Idle Control Valve
is usually located on the back side of the tb and they do go bad
over time on our cars. You may want to try pulling one off of another car and see if it helps.
