hmmn - i believe the only way to hook up a gcc is to plug in the back of a vpc. No way that i know off that you can uses it as a standalone. Furthermore the gcc allows only +18 and -12 % change VS the AFC which allows +- 50 %. IMO the GCC is used as a fine tuning tool for the VPC.
