I'm sure the cobb tune isn't risky, it just probably leaves alot of power on the table that a custom tune might put to use. maybe if you buy all cobb parts its pretty close to a custom tune...
Once you start modding there is a degree of risk, and mail order tunes are a risk I'm not willing to take.
Even with all the same parts and the exact same setup as the original car that the map was based off of...every car is different and I'd feel better knowing that was taken into account when my car is tuned.
