Slash.. seems like the MS fits the bill for you very well given your requirements. Let me know how it turns out because, I actually want to try it on this side project I am working on. Its more of a project, and I don't need all the bells/whistles of the more expensive computers.

I actually started down the path of designing my own fuel computer at one point, but quickly realized I probobly couldn't beat the cost of a MS by much at all.
