1) price. I think $1500 is conservative...i thought they were > $2k.

2) tuning an AEM is miserable. you'll buy it, install it, then won't be able to get your car to run. then you'll take it to a local dsm expert, spend a few hundred bux, then decide you shouldn't have bought an aem.
