Engine Warmup Time
Ok, I doubt this is a big deal but it bothers the hell out of me. My engine (b16a3) takes about 10 mintues to warm up, which seems like forever. However my friend, who also has a sol, has a type r swap in his and his engine warms up within 1 or 2 minutes. Does the 200-300 cubic centimeters really make that much of a difference on warm up time? Or is there something wrong with my car as to where it would not warm up quickly enough.
This really bothers me since I can't, nor would I want to, hit vtec on a cold block. I'm stock besides an intake and that obviously does nothing to this equation. My buddies b18 is stock. I considered just installing a remote start, but the warm up still takes way to long.
Anyway, the real question is:
What are your average warm up times?
and
if times are lower than mine what do you think the problem is, if any?
